I was born in 1949 into a real romany family and inherited the ability to see spirit ,
We did not travel much though and mostly lived in houses,
A small market town called Hitchin is where I took my first breaths,
It was only 4yrs after WW11 and much of England was being rebuilt,
Bombed out buildings were still with us in the 1960s,
We had to have identity cards even babies, I have mine to this day,
Ration books were still with us many years after the war,
Radio was our main source of entertainment and old 78rpm records,
Family was everything,we didnt have much but what we did have was put to good use,
Life was so much simpler then,
The old were looked after at home,Everyone sharing the responsability,The way it had been done for generations,
Mum baked and made our clothes, I remember making myself a dolls house out of a large cardboard box,
Dad was jack of all trades and master of none as the saying goes ,but we survived,
Two brothers make up the rest of the family,I am the youngest,
